addition, and unrelated to, our Reader’s Contest, we also
offer a Romantic dinner ideas promotion. Do you have an idea of
a special meal you’d like to prepare for someone dear to your
heart? A romantic
candle-lit evening at your/his/her home with fine food and
music?
To
participate, just use the form below.
Once a month, starting with March, 2003 and
continuing monthly until December, 2004, a random
draw will be made from the names in the guest book. The monthly winner
selected will be e-mailed at the address on file in the guest
book, and asked to send in to the www.yearofsamantha.com web
site a description of what a perfect romantic dinner would
include for them, including a menu of what delicious dishes
they would prepare, or, in the alternative, what tasty food
they would order for take out/home delivery, as well as what
CD they would play in the background for mood music. Once the menu is
received along with a mailing address, reimbursement of the
cost of the dinner and music CD will be mailed to that month’s
winner (based on the itemized estimate provided by the winner,
up to a maximum cost of $200.00) – a romantic dinner at home
compliments of www.yearofsamantha.com The monthly winners will be posted on the Discussion Board along with the menus they submitted.

Official Contest Rules:
- No
Purchase Is Necessary.
All names in the Guest Book database are eligible to
win the monthly dinner at home draw each month. Only one
guest book entry per person.
- Prize: The
ingredients/food/beverage/music CD to make a romantic dinner
for two at home (maximum value: $200.00 (US) / $280.00
(Canadian)).
- The Webmaster will
randomly select one name from the yearofsamantha.com guest
book once a month from March to December of 2004 to win this
monthly draw. The webmaster’s decisions are final and
binding.
In the event the winner is Canadian, she or he will
be required to correctly answer a time limited arithmetic
skill question in order to receive a prize. The odds of winning
are dependent on the number of names in the Guest Book
database at the time of each monthly drawing. The
winner will be notified by e-mail. No substitution of
prize allowed.
The Webmaster is not responsible for incomplete or
lost or misdirected entries.
- The
Winner may be required to execute an affidavit of
eligibility and release and, if so, the affidavit must be
returned within fourteen days of notification or another
winner will be selected. Entering the Year of
Samantha Romantic dinner for two draw constitutes permission
for use of the winner’s name, city, and dinner
choiceselections for publicity and promotional purposes,
with no additional compensation. The winner will be
announced on this web site each month after the monthly
draw. The monthly draw will occur around the first week of each
month, and the winner and her/his dinner menu will be posted
within 30 days of the draw.

contest/Sweepstakes is open to residents of the
United States and Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec)
eighteen years of age or older, and is void wherever
prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of
yearofsamantha.com, their subsidiaries and affiliates, and
their immediate family members are not eligible to
enter. All
federal, state and local laws apply. Taxes, if any, are
